Return Problem Cause Solution

• Presence of blue spots on wooden frames • Peeling and cracking of varnish

Discover the potential causes and view the solutions
The wooden structure (frame) has remained without proper maintenance for a long period. Its exposure to external environmental conditions has caused the varnish to crack and subsequent moisture penetration into the wood mass.

Sand thoroughly with coarse (No. 100) and then with fine sandpaper (No. 180) until the blistered parts of the surface, as well as older layers of varnish, are completely removed. Next, remove the dust and apply the clear solvent-based wood impregnating preservative DUROXYL WOOD PROTECTION/CONDITIONER or the colored varnish DUROXYL to the surfaces, depending on the desired shade.

Once dry, apply one to two coats of the decorative solvent-based varnish DUROLAC or the glossy solvent-based varnish MARINER.
