Remove the detached marble tiles and clean them of mortar residue. Remove the existing mortar from the substrate using mechanical means, clean away dust, and rinse with plenty of water. Dampen the surface and then reinstall the marble tiles using the marble and granite adhesive D-23.
Grout with ULTRA-FINE CEMENTITIOUS GROUT, adding acrylic emulsion or D-20 to the mixing water at a 1:2 ratio with water, or grout with the 2-component epoxy grout DUROPOXY.
In large-area outdoor spaces, at the junction of vertical and horizontal surfaces, create an expansion joint prepared with PRIMER-PU primer and seal it with the elastomeric polyurethane sealant DUROFLEX-PU.

Detachment of marble
Discover the potential causes and view the solutions
• Moisture - frost. The absorbency of the grout allows water to penetrate. If the temperature drops to low levels, the water turns into ice, causing it to expand, which can reach the point of detaching the marble. • Absence of an expansion joint • Bonding mortar with low adhesion capacity • Grouting was likely done with white cement, resulting in the formation of hairline cracks. Moisture and potentially—outdoors—frost allowed for expansion, leading to detachment.
