Since the problem stems from a lack of waterproofing, we must waterproof it. The options available for waterproofing are:

  • DS-220 elastomeric flat roof waterproofer (rubber).

  • HYDROSTOP-PU polyurethane flat roof waterproofer.

  • HYDROSTOP ROOF flexible white one-component cementitious flat roof waterproofer with 15-year durability.

  • WATERPROOF 500 2-component polyurea-based flat roof waterproofer (long-term protection).

  • WATERPROOF PU 700 100% polyurethane flat roof waterproofer (long-term protection).

Increased moisture level due to condensation of water vapor, caused by inadequate thermal insulation

In this case, we must thermally insulate and waterproof at the same time. The roof thermal-waterproofing system COOL ROOF or the lightweight roof thermal-waterproofing system COOL ROOF LIGHT is recommended.

Increased moisture level due to insufficient ventilation and increased water vapor observed in the bathroom and kitchen

Clean the surface with the special mold cleaning liquid D-95 CLEANER. Prime (if necessary) with the micromolecular stabilizer AQUAFIX and apply two coats of the acrylic paint for protection against fungi and mold BATH & KITCHEN.

Ensure that the rooms are adequately ventilated.
