Uneven color shade rendering (interior or exterior)

Discover the potential causes and view the solutions
• Varying local absorbency of the substrate
• Absence of priming or carelessly executed priming
• Excessive thinning of the paint

Preparation of the substrate using the appropriate primer is essential.

Select one of DUROSTICK’s three primers: SOLVENT-BASED PRIMER (The SOLVENT-BASED PRIMER is thinned with DUROSTICK’s THINNER 101. Strictly follow the dilution and usage instructions stated in the product’s TDS), micromolecular stabilizer AQUAFIX, or 100% ACRYLIC PRIMER. Thinning of the paint should range between 5 to 8%, depending on its viscosity/thickness.

For interior surfaces, repaint with the ecological emulsion paint SUPER ECO or with the emulsion paint EXTRA. For exterior surfaces, repaint with 10 YEARS WARRANTY or 100% ACRYLIC PAINT.
