If the vertical grout lines are stable, apply the silicone-based tile joint waterproofer D-16 HYDROSTOP to halt moisture penetration. For the horizontal joint beneath the skirting, mechanically remove the grout (using a grinder) and seal it securely with the elastomeric polyurethane sealant DUROFLEX-PU, following prior priming with PRIMER-PU. Alternatively, the application of the elastomeric sealant and adhesive DS POLYMER is recommended. The same materials should be used at the junction where the top of the skirting meets the wall. If the grout is friable or exhibits visible cracking entirely or for the most part, the optimal solution is to remove it using a GROUT SCRAPER and regrout using the fine-grained CEMENTITIOUS grout DUROGROUT (1-10mm).

Remove the existing grout using a GROUT SCRAPER and then seal securely with the elastomeric polyurethane sealant DUROFLEX-PU, following prior priming with PRIMER-PU. Alternatively, the application of the elastomeric sealant and adhesive DS POLYMER is recommended.
Repair the cracks using the flexible fiber-reinforced cementitious sealant SUPER FLEX POWDER. Next, apply the multi-purpose flexible mortar for masonry repair and waterproofing, MEGAFIX, over the entire surface. Subsequently, prime with the micromolecular stabilizer AQUAFIX and apply a topcoat of the waterproofing elastomeric paint D-80 HYDROSTOP ELASTIC.
Remove the deteriorated sealant and seal the perimeter of the anchoring point with the elastomeric polyurethane sealant DUROFLEX-PU, following prior priming with PRIMER-PU.
Remove the paint and any friable plaster areas using heavy-duty sandpaper (No. 60 grit). Then, widen the cracks using mechanical means (grinder, screwdriver, chisel) and clear away any dust residue. Dampen the area lightly. Identify any potential underlying issues that could cause the problem to recur. Seal the cracks using the flexible fiber-reinforced cementitious sealant SUPER FLEX POWDER. Finally, prime the surface with the micromolecular stabilizer AQUAFIX or SOLVENT PRIMER and finish by painting with the waterproofing elastomeric paint D-80 HYDROSTOP ELASTIC, THERMOELASTIC COLOUR, or DUROPAINT-PU.
